The diameters of each screw segment increase successively. The rubber liner of the outer stator tube is placed in the middle segment of the outer stator tube. The parts outside the upper and lower ends of the rubber liner on the outer stator tube are the accommodating tube segments. When the rotor of the screw pump works with a screw segment of one diameter in conjunction with the rubber liner of the stator, the screw segments of other diameters enter the corresponding accommodating tube segments of the outer stator tube for idling.
This utility model broadens the application range of screw pumps, extends from conventional production to thermal production, improves the pump efficiency of thermal production wells and the efficiency of the mechanical production system, and explores a new way for energy conservation and cost reduction in heavy oil development.
